"How to improve this painting? C&C welcome!"
The few comments I will make is the way the dark hair meets the dark sky seems to imbalance the painting.
Perhaps if the sky were a little lighter
On the upper far left, that green squarish area (plants in a window?) could also be just a tiny bit lighter
and finally, the exactly parallel even lines of your shirt seem unnatural. a bit of wavy that follows your body shape would be nicer....unless you have a perfectly flat and square body~
The figures in the background are great
they seem to add to the painting yet not distract from the COI.
Evrything else about this seems very good
thanks for sharing this with us
i think it has a nice edge of creepy, a subtle yet notable fear factor, more caution/awareness than fear tho, really, as night looms, but light invites.
the top bright blue against the dark hair could be calmed, leave it bright on the moon side and more shadowed on the hair side?

I see what you are saying. Here is another revision. I tried brighten up the green and fix some unnatural bumps on the upper nose, as well as fixing the light on the right.
