This is my first "big" (DIN A 4 which means the size of copy paper) acrylic painting. Never tried something big like this. I am still very new to acrylics, but I am having fun with them.

It's not a masterpiece yet, but it is an honest expression worthy of looking and examining.

Very dramatic. You've got that strong red and green contrast again, love that.

There is a nice solidity to this. I like the contrast between the gentle eyes and the wild colours if the mask like face.

seems like a war mask
could be from anywhere
the concept is good
study the placement of the eyes:
they seem a bit high
study on expressions:
he seems calm
not wild
not angry
the slarch of the eyebrows
and the tightening up
of the muscles around the eyes
mebbe
bulging beady eyes
ready to explode

This is an example of what is on the web

hundreds more out there, I rely on them often to self-teach myself
You have the interesting colors
you have the ideas
and that is a pretty good face
it just needs a little oomph!
