This is a small piece in acrylics on board. I borrowed the title from that old Hitchcock movie. Not sure why. But maybe it's suitable.
If this painting reminds someone of George Rouault, I have to say that it's purely coincidental. I only realized that there are certain similarities long after the piece was done.
Cheers

Edward Snowden?

Now that you mention it I see the George Rouault style, still very cool painting... I could look at this style of paintings all day! :)

Hey Mr., guess we can easily change the title to ES, great idea!
Keep on looking!......

Roualt was never one of my favorites, but this I like because the softness of the color and texture within those black outlines makes it pleasing

I've said many times that your style reminds me of Roualt. I like Roualt but I like your work better. IMHO it's more modern and imaginative, with more vibrant and interesting colors.
This one is as terrific as always, and I kinda like the title the way it is. Sort of an homage to whistleblowers.

You are a master of faces that look like they've seen it all.
