It's actually layers of paint. I use a slo-dry medium along with a thickening gel. I sort of "sculpt" the paint with a palette knife. Thanks for the feedback :cat:

So cool that this is an additive process. It looks like a painted wood cut or wood carving. Strong composition and colour scheme too!

I am not entirely sure if I understood how this is created...

I build up layers of paint and use sandpaper to reveal colors underneath and give it added texture. There is another "secret" step that I'm hesitant to reveal because I think the mystery adds to my paintings...
