From Gregory: This is my first experiment stretching shapes in Rhino. This is also the first time I have tried posting myself. Two experiments in one day! The next challenge is using control points to distort objects even further. Wish me luck.

Hi Gregory!
Your doing such a great job with just the primitive shapes, I can't wait 'till you start using control points because your spaceships are gonna look sooooo good then.
Great work. :)

wow.. nice work Gregory!

Those control points are really going to make you want to do more! The one thing I did learn the hard way is that you can have too many. Keep on posting! Do you have anything to make textures with?

Hey hey,
nice stuff there Greg! Keep it up...
PS: is this a rendered model, or snatched straight from the viewport?

I'm not sure about what Rhino has - is there such a thing in Rhino as "meshsmooth"?
If so, it's really easy to handle control points that way.

Ask him to think about an asymmetrical design.

Wasn't there a neat one near the end of Empire Strikes Back?

This is cool, but it's a little generic in configuration.
