MY COMMENTS:
Jazz singer fantasy

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Does her left shoulder and other area in the front too close in value to the background? Does the shadow edge on the nose look too sharp? Her right collar bone is in highlight- should I forget that? Sorry no reference image. Other suggestions and comments welcome.

I'd define the back of her neck and shoulder to separate her a bit more from the background
and put some highlights on the dress
also, check the right point edge of her right eye, might be high?
and right ear top, might also be high?
she seems a happy soul

She has a grimace which makes me wonder if it's commentary on the nightlife environment she's in. If her world is a bit deformed, then it seems to show up appropriately in her facial proportions.

I measured them so the proportions should be close. I'll double check. I do not see a grimace. Just sounds like a snide remark to me.

I'm unsure about her dress. Is the black foreground a strapless dress or is The purple behind it her dress?

It's a strapless black dress. i have since lightened the area behind her right shoulder to make the distinction between the shadowed shoulder and the background. Your query is appreciated. Made me look at that issue again.
