I had a little more time to sketch the Hydrangeas so they are more detailed. Thanks for looking. I certainly enjoyed sketching - gave me a short break from cycling as it was very hot. The one of Meersburg was done from a nice vantage point where I could have my back pressed against the wall. It avoided having tourists peeking over my shoulder and making remarks!! :)

Thanks Debby. I always manage to find time whatever outdoor pursuit I am up to . My husband Pete is pretty good about it. He usually takes a short nap!!:D

Great sketches Chammi. I love your colorful style.

One of my favorite summer days was bicycling up and down the parkway and sketching, unfortunately that was years ago, I gotta get in good enough shape to do that again some day.

Thanks so much JJ, Dave and EP. It is such a joy sharing my sketches here and seeing all the terrific journals others have shared. Great forum.

Wonderful color and sense of place. I'm in awe of your buildings, so well rendered. My pitiful attempts at drawing San Francisco pale by comparison, though I'm getting better at the trees! Love that mad sweet hydrangea page. It's lively and whimsical and natural, just perfect, gorgeous text with it too. All of them lovely pages.
