You didn't specify what type of ground you wanted other than liquid, so I have included several. I have tried some of these grounds, some not yet. See the note associated with each link.

Hard Grounds

Tried this, too brittle for me

I am trying to find a solvent free non toxic hard ground I like. Hopefully this one will be it.

Ball Ground

Not a liquid hard ground but a recipe worth filing away nonetheless.

Soft Ground

(I haven't tried any of the DIY soft grounds yet)

New Blue Hard or Soft Ground (Changes by heating it)

Aquatint

The Speedball screen filler worked great as a sprayed on Aquatint. I did a bit less water than the instructions gave but my touch up gun is better at atomizing liquids than the cheap airbrush they used.
