tell me what I'm looking at. It looks like a mirror image, but doesn't and it looks like a real floor? Surely you didn't paint that wood floor that realistically???? Are these the paintings?

i think you've cropped it appropriately bev.

honest liar, I'd be tempted to put some white (a white line) in that dark middle strip because it seems heavy to the point of mildly distracting.
a close up pic would help tho, can't see any detail so it's hard to get deeper into any critique

I think if you went more neutral with all the colors, your sister could live with it better unless she has a plethora of wild colors. You have all the primary colors in one triptych.

then I can understand. His colors are meshed together however. yellow into red, etc, but still this is your piece done your way and it should work with his
