Very nice use of color, but it looks almost desolate...as though any activity that might have been was removed by some terrible force.

This is some of what art is supposed to do; make us think and feel.

Well ... there really isn't much out there. Plain buildings and little hay stacks. And the occasional cow. The colors are mostly green with little variety and the sky was stormy. The one thing I could have done was to work more on creating a brighter green-yellow mix for the furthest pastures. :) This part of Kentucky just isn't very pretty this time of the year. There is very little historical architecture left here anymore, it is mostly modular homes and plastic sheds.

I like it as well. Wonderful greens in the fields. There is a sense of abandonment and if that echoes what you see, then bravo.

I am drawn to dark moods, and things that are somber in nature. If you happen to see something that is unusually bright in comparison to everything else, I only painted the contrasts.
