Hello everybody.

I want to make a copy of Golden Adele by Klimt. I would be very grateful for your opinion: what is better to use - gold flakes or golden and silver acrylics? I have good gold and silver acrylics, I would rather use them to save money, but may be gold flakes give much richer effects?

And one more question: what is better to use for contours on a painting - some kind of medium or contours used for glass? I want lines to have some volume.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Klimt used gold leaf, not paint.

Gold leaf is the real thing and yes, it will give a richer image.

You can also get a copper leaf that resembles gold and may be close enough for your purposes.

Thank you very much for the tips! Copper sounds nice - I love this colour.
