Good morning everybody!

At last the sun made an appearance and I took photos of my latest acrylic paintings, this is one of them, first work published here, comments very welcome...!

It's 'Carnica', from carn(ivore) and Guernica, however a little smaller  than Guernica : 28,74x23,62" / 72x60cm

Guarnica was a small town in Spain that was bombed by the Luftwaffe in 1937. Picasso painted an abstract mural as an antiwar sentiment. He named the mural Guarnica.

Very creative and well done! I had to check that I'm not still in digital forum with that line work.

Thanks for all the comments!

It's funny that I've had the exact same comment on the 'astract & contemporary art' section about the lines that make the picture seem digital... it's because I paint the lines a second time at the very end, that gives the drawing its clearness...

Well darn it, I was expecting a cubist automotive painting. This is pretty clever too. :)

I love this. It is a whimsical take on Picasso with a dash of Klee. Wonderful work.
