Thinking about buying a roll of canvas on the net is 30"x60' which is perfect for my plans, I have never bought a roll of canvas before,so need experts opinions! I will be painting 24x24 acrylic paintings and plan on a final coat of Golden acrylic polmar varnish, so what does the 370gsm mean? I Googed it and think its inkjet coated with canvas????
here are the spec's on the product.
Thank You!

18 Meter / 59.055 ft Rolls
100% Cotton
Double Primed
Canvas Roll has a 2" Core
Ideal for Acrylics & Oils

Ideal Double primed cotton has a good medium weave and weight. This canvas is superb for portrait artists. Additionally, it is ideal for virtually any technique where you want to see just a hint of the linen surface and just enough tooth to hold heavy layers of paint while still maintaining the smooth rich texture inherent in any serious portrait canvas.
Cotton duck canvas is much less expensive than linen and has become the most popular support for oil and acrylic painting, especially for students. A properly prepared cotton canvas has longevity similar to linen and is more flexible and easier to stretch properly.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/28-May-2015/1536000-KGrHqJ,!qgFCrurgTgQBQsP1hitg60_57.JPG

Grams per Square Meter. Similar to TPI, (threads per inch). Or the density of a given material.

Depending on what kind of stretcher bars you use/make, remember that you will need some extra material beyond your painting surface size, for the wrap and stapling. 30" is my minimum for a standard 24" stretch.
I buy my canvas duck here, for some great prices: http://www.bigduckcanvas.com/

370 gms is equal to about 13 oz ... weight of the canvas - this being a decent medium weight one.
1gm =0,035274oz!!!!!!!!
Heavier weights are around 20oz per sq metre (sometime sq yd)

Dick Blick is quite informative about the weights and quality of canvas!:)
