18 x 24" pastel on LeCarte card using Unison, Terry Ludwig, and CarbOthello pastel pencils.

Inspiration came from a photo posted long ago in the reference library...thank you to the photographer (whose name escapes me).

I agree with Don. This does remind us of Sorolla's Oceanside paintings with white clothing. I am impressed with how the Sun and Wind has been captured. One can almost feel the wind blowing.
Very well done.

Thank you everyone for all your kind comments. It was a challenging painting but I am pretty pleased with the end result. It's going up for sale in Sept. in a huge, annual art show held in a neighbouring community. Every year well over 7000 people attend the art show (featuring over 200 artists) so I have high hopes it will sell.
