Nice. with the clouds to the right of the head and tail makes it look like he's flying backwards or to the left. Suggest you pull clouds on both sides of the head or remove that one.

Fox eNova, thank you for your comments and take you advise the next time I paint a eagle, and leave a open shy in the back grown but truthful, I never see a eagle flying Backwards, I use watch them fly over eagle Lake in northern CA. and would sore over the sky about just as beautiful as life could expect them to be, maybe that why founding Father pick the American eagle to be the bird of out nation, thank you for point the sky and move the clouds around in the sky!

I've never seen them fly backwards either. The wisp of clouds just appears (like contrails) to me to give him that motion.

Fox eNova, I don't dout you word, but look at cloud, the Larger part cloud is head to the eagle tail, that would mean the eagel id fly in to the wind to sore, and glide with up draft of wind, just like a air plain take off the ground all way head in to the wind, this was my thought, and thank you, very much!

Thank you, Yes I kind planed it that way so would haven't put any thing in but the sky, with no land at all, I had thought mix it with a mountain seen, but it would been to buss looking I thought, so this how it turn out. Thank you gain Barbara Crowley, for looking in at this painting and sharing it.
