Hi all!

I haven't been here in awhile but wanted to swing by and post some recent work. I've been busy at this painting thing! Kids are almost out of school and life is hectic....so thankful for these fun little sticks of colorful joy! :)

Most of these are from my imagination. I'm really noticing a pattern in style that only comes when you work consistently. Sllightly unreal landscape, happy colors, a bit of whimsy sometimes. :)

Sold 11 paintings two weekends ago! Amazing! Love to all my wet canvas friends! <3

hi back Bethany. Congratulations on selling so many paintings!!
This latest showing, you know if you show us several, we will choose. I choose number one and number three but I love love the sky in number four. That is a winning sky! Nice work

Bethany, you have developed a beautiful style. I see why you sold 11 paintings. Congrats on that. I'm partial to your flower field painting. What size are these paintings?

Thanks so much Jay! :) I love the sky in number four too...now if I can just remember how I did it! haha. ;)

Thank you Karen! The top three around 9x12 although the wildflower is a bit smaller. The "number four" painting is around 8x8 though not exactly square. Thank you for asking!

Beautiful color harmony in these! The water and clouds are gorgeous. I also really like the foliage and reeds. Congrats on all those sales!

Beautiful work, Bethany! You sure are gifted with a wonderful color sense!

Very nice group. Number 2 reminds me a little of Karen Margulis, the poppies rock. Well done on all four, each a little different in emphasis. All textural and lively.

Wow love your use of color and your loose style!
Reminds me of my favorite pastellest...Liz Haywood-Sullivan that's a fact! The sky in the fourth painting is superb!

Really great work Bethany! Congratulations on your excellent sales, too!! There are times when letting go of control allows inspiration to just flow- this may have been true. Recalling how that feels would be worthwhile- specifics are less important.

Thank you all so much! :) I really appreciate the kind words. Happy Monday! (our first day of summer!! Woot!)

All of these are so beautiful! The first one speaks to me the most - something about that abstract quality in it, the colors working together.. Great job!
