Thanks for hosting Lin and all the images. I tried acrylics again this week, got a little ambitious I think but here it is anyway...... unfinished. 2 hours about and I don't think I'll have time to do anymore on it. On Matt board 20 x 25 cm.

I really like it and I find it quite finished. A loose approach but still a lot of depth and accuracy.

The background strokes are wonderful, yet this musician stands out well in front and has a powerful presence; even though he appears with so little detail, he has everything he needs for the story being told. Strong work !!

The blues against the blue b/ g actually work making this piece pretty exquisite

I'm glad you did this one of Mark.
The monochromal effect is great- he'd approve as his favourite music genre is 2-Tone!
He's lost in a haze of music.
