This is a painting I worked 24/7 on to finish for a 'Challenge Show' called 'Architecture'.
Oh, the lines! I think I'm going to just throw some paint at my next canvas.
Any comments are welcome.

Wow - all those lines must have been an exercise in extreme patience!! It's really paid off though, the effect is impressive. Love the lighting :) What size is this piece?

Wendy, that is a work of patience and it is beautiful.
When I first saw it I figured it was just a reference photo and that the painting would be lower down in the thread.

Great job! Very realistic :) I've shied away from buildings for a long time because I'm too lazy to break out the ruler!

Thank you so much for all the nice comments. Mellybean I usually stay away from rulers too but it was for a 'challenge' show and it was a challenge. Although I can see the flaws, I feel good about the piece in the end.
