Well actually, mine are purple :( . Did this on a 7"x5" piece of US Paper, 140lb CP with W&N watercolors. Took me about 1 1/2 hours. Thanks oldrockchick for the wonderful references!http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/18-May-2015/1968360-WDE15purplebells.jpg

I like the style Kate - but I think it needs the blue!;):) I know, but I was painting it using a very bad copy from my very bad printer and forgot I was painting bluebells!:lol:

That's why I always paint from my laptop screen! LOL
I like them purple....as Susan said, they are purplebells!

Good point Valri! Thanks everyone -- actually now it reminds me of the north woods of Wisconsin where I have a condo on the banks of the Wisconsin River. So that's what I'll tell people it is! Problem solved.

The colour comes up 'plum' on my monitor, so for me it is a 'plumbells woods', and that's fine too ! There are lovely distance and contours here... does indeed look like familiar woods to me also. I like it just the way it is !

This is good, lovely restful scene. I always paint from the screen too. Got tired of replacing printer ink.

Nice peaceful scene. I can envision taking a walk in those woods.
