View Full Version : WDE 15MAY2015 - Not So Scary Dracula + MI

Hi again! It's almost Tuesday here in the East so I'm starting a new thread for my additional work.

I did a quick 30-minute drawing of the young lad dressed as Dracula. My objective was to make him look more sinister without making it too cartoon-ish. Not sure about the results - it just look like a more gaunt version of the handsome model in the pic. This is pencil on a half A4 plain paper.

Here's my version of the Dahlia which I belatedly put in my first thread. I guess not many have seen it so I'm attaching it here as well. Acrylics on a 5x7 canvas board. Done in more than 2 hours.

I love your vampire! He looks like he's a bit snobby with his nose in the air. HA

Nice flower too!!

How could anybody that handsome be sinister ?? LOL Lovely sketch though ! The dahlia turned out very pretty too... most interesting background to set off all the pretty pinks of the petals.

Nice work on the vampire and the dahlia. I especially like the background of the flower and the contrast of the soft pale petals against the darker ones.
