8.5x5.5 Tombow black brush pen on Sheraton Hotel paper drawn yesterday in about 10 minutes, then finished in watercolor today. Painting time 40 minutes. The paper is tinted pale creamy yellow and I like how the paint appears on it; sketchbook wasn't handy so I had to use that
Thanks for the ref, Lin!
C&C welcome

Lovely, colorful Macaw. I like the shine on the beak contrasted with the texture of the feathers.

Nice work on the dancer sketch. I like how you did her hari with just a few strokes.

Glad you decided to join in and post your work this week. The pictures are displaying right side up for me.

Gorgeous parrot and I'm a bit afraid of big birds, so that is a high compliment!

I was too busy admiring those exquisite turquoises to see the logo at first, but when I did it reminded me a bit of those bejeweled turbans that the Nabobs were pictured wearing LOL. I love how the artist in you can make a work of art with what is at hand at the moment !

A true artist can paint on anything and with anything and you sure can!
How come your tombows don't bleed like mine?

Lovely Kay and your background swirls give it a sense that it may fly away at any moment. Thank you for hosting. Hope to submit my piece if I can figure how to do it. It's been a while.

Thanks all! Ros, if I use the nib tip of the brush pen, I don't get the bleeding.

I agree that it is amazing making such a work of art on something as simple as Hotel Paper!
