Thanks for Hosting Lin...

Love the forest landscape one!!
I think Lin said those were kayaks....but how cool that you turned them into surf boards!

The color schemes are a shocker. It is working very well in my opinion. There's a jump at me effect. I find the forest exceptionally well painted!

I love what yo've done with the kayaks/boards ( I wasn't sure what they were to be honest). Nice addition of colour and activity.

But, your bluebell woods are STUNNING! So much light and shadow.

Your bluebell woods are alive with vibrancy - can feel the coolness of the woods contrasting with the heat of the day. I have never used pastels on canvas, but I sure like this effect. And the straight lines of the scaffolding alongside the gently curved lines of the boards/kayaks add tension between them - love the liniarity (is that even a real word?) between the two.

Wow, Richard, you've been busy! The bluebell woods scene was a popular choice and you did wonders with it; love the application over red underpainting. I think this is your best work ever! Love the stacked boards or kayaks, too, nice and fresh.
