Hey Joel:wave: thanks for hosting and the great ref pics:thumbsup: did some people sketching for ref in case i ever want to put a figure into a painting,i hope you can see as it is graphite, thinking i might go in with some watercolour pencils, only maybe as it is not watercolour paper,i could try it first on some scrap just to see,i usually dip my watercolour pencils into water as i draw with them.

Ambitious! The draft shows the attention to details. I am sitting tight to see how this progress :)

This Is A Wonderful Sketch Even If You Do No More To It.

What a nice drawing!
The self-assured attitude of the women in the front compared to the more soft group on the left and the almost anonymous group further on the right.

I sometimes add some watercolor to my sketchbook and that goes ok (no wet juices offcourse)

Hey Coaltip,Connie,Cartledge,Marie,Kate,Mike,Roz,KayM,Elaine,Susan,Robert,Tyree,Marita:wave: thanks for viewing and your comments:thumbsup: the paper wont take water so filed away with my sketch pad,and did a watercolour on gesso of the main figure.

Nice work for sure! I like the lone figure who appears to be wondering what to do.

Great work on the sketch and the watercolor. Too bad the sketch could take the watercolor, it would have been a nice painting.

I am so glad you kept that wonderful sketch *as* a sketch, and didn't take any chances with it. It is perfect exactly the way it is ! That said, the back-viewed figure practise stood you in good stead, because that watercolour is gorgeous too !! What a productive wde for you !!!

Hey. I'm so glad I checked back. Great work on the main figure. You caught her stance perfectly. I love your colors.
