Dear all,

Even tough this is mainly acrylic, it has a bit of airbrush, oil colors which can be diluted with water, and markers as well. This is a story book like image, which I created with combining different techniques.

I have been painting different impressions of Venice recently, including a foggy one, this came with snow.

I have not really been into acrylics since my childhood, I usually prefer oil colors or airbrush, but I have developed allergies for some substances and started trying techniques for water-based media. Acrylics have no nasty odour and possible to mix with oils as well.

Cheers,

Can

Neat effect. Keep in mind that oil and water don't mix.

Beautiful! It does look like a book illustration. I see no snow settled on anything so I guess it has just begun. Lovely painting.

Dear all,

I am extremely grateful for all your comments and appreciate them all. :clap:I actually continued working on this painting. Here are some pictures to share how it changed.

It is cooling me down to look at those paintings in such hot days of the summer.

Dear Maureen,

Sorry for the extremely late response. Thank you for the encouragement. You are right, usually artists like to paint Venice in spring or summer. I haven't seen a single one under snow so far.

Thanks,

Can
