I really liked the whole scene where the busker was but decided to just zoom in on him. I took a lot of artistic license.
3 x 9 on a scrap of 156lb watercolor paper. Mostly pencil but felt like the bricks could be the b/g to make him pop. Not sure if that was a success or not.

Really like the splash of color, really adds to the drawing.

Wonder what songs he's playing?

Love the format Valri. Long and thin like the musician. :)

I really like this crop. I think the background works well and adds a lot of interest. I'd say this was a success! :)

The singer would be great in colour too, but I also like him in B&W:)

Nice sketch, and the bricks and comp make it very clear that he is busking.

Nice sketch, and like the soft splash of colour on the bricks. But dang, he looks like he's singing the Blues.
