Digi owl done with Serif DrawPlus6 using five layers and building from basic shapes - seeing how I could use them to combine and create!
Had to resort to drawing shapes for the feather body though ....... much of the work is creating a shape, copying and changing and then combining to make bigger or more complex shapes.
I drew an initial shape of the owl on one layer so I could create the rest on layers above that - had the ref to the side for viewing.
Took a couple of hours - wanted to keep him simple!

Have included a pic of the shapes I used, including a freehand of the feathers for the body.

A nice fun design! I like the way you've used the shapes for the feathers. I've never tried anything like this!

WQW!! It all sounds too complicated for me but you sure can make your digi's sing or hoot as the case may be. Love it!!

Hey Maureen:wave: looking good:clap: you are getting better with digi's:thumbsup: i think it was picasso who said it has taken me 50years to learn how to draw like a child,well i can do better than that,give me 50 seconds on a digi pad and i too can draw like a child:D

Cool. It's a great image. Love the different shapes peeking out of his head. I'm much too impatient to learn this digi stuff.
