Scene through the old window...on a 10" x 8" Paintboard for Watercolor. (First time using this...interesting surface to work on)
Used water colour and ink wash for challenge, 2 hours. I should tackle another image later.

...what a lovely warm feel you've given to this old ruin. It's an old burnt out church in Buckfastliegh, Devon. It's quite a sad place really, but you've made it look happy and inviting, bravo on this one...

That wonderfully preserved light just draws the eye up through that detailed framework - just lovely !

Its lovely and you caught the light and form so well. Not an easy ref I think but you nailed it.
