This came out very nice Robert. It was one of my "maybe" references. The rust adds lots of texture and interest.

Ah no shiny new lock for this couple, the rusty but reliable all weather lock that has lasted the test of time would be my choice as well. You caught it beautifully.

Wonderful rusty tones on the lock, but I think what pleases me even more are how the curves of the lock are counterbalanced by the straight lines of the supporting grid of fence.

To Bonnie and future Paris visitors the passerelle du pont des arts padlocks have been removed last winter as the fence fell down to much weight it eneded up to be tons of metal and could be dangerous for the bridge and people
