This is the first time I've done anything this size (ATC). Turns out it's a lot of fun.

I have a thing about spiders so I did this one first. It's pen and ink and a tiny bit of pencil.

It took about 25 minutes. Then I spent the next hour cleaning up and repainting part of the wall after I knocked my black ink over :(

I really liked the picture of the bay with the lone tree. I was going to finish this in ink wash but after the ink incident I decided to use coloured pencils instead. This took about 20 minutes.

Happy to trade either of these.

Thank you for looking.

Great spider, not my favorite pal. Lovely colored pencil colors of the bay.

Thank you for the comments. :)

I have a feeling not many people will like the spider - I just really like drawing them! I'll probably try a few of the other pictures over the week as I liked quite a lot of them.

Despite how I feel about spiders, your spider is really cool.

Yay, I was wondering if anyone would do the spider. You did it great and Emily Bay is lovely too. Wanna swap for the spider?

That spider is perfect. I like spiders, they catch a lot of pesky bugs and I encourage them in house (yes !) and yard. Your little Emily Bay reads so much larger that it is irl. These are both beautifully done. I can't believe that this was the weekend I couldn't join in due to commitments, trading little paintings sounds like so much fun. Sorry to hear about your inky accident and forced wall repainting <:-(

Awesome spider! The way you drew it makes it appear to be coming right off the paper into real life making my skin crawl! Good job! Your bay drawing brings my nerves down. Much more relaxing to look at than the spider. Again, good job on both.

Beautiful work, especially the spider.

What an adventure you had with the ink though. I can't blame you for using colored pencils on the second one.

Thank you everyone for your comments. :)

I haven't used any ink since the weekend, I'm a bit scared! :D I love using ink though, it's lovely to draw with.
