Just a quick Narwhal playin a riff. This painting is for my best friends new little boy Geddy. Acrylic on Canvas.
Victories: A bit more confident color mixing.
Struggles: Thin lines for the guitar and writing. How do people do that? Flat sunglasses but not really sure how to make them more in depth and realistic.

Well that's really original! Fine lines and writing are hard to do. A script liner and practice, I guess. Or a paint pen.
If you really want to do more with the sunglasses, go to Google images and search for person wearing sunglasses and see if you find an image you like to help with adding reflections and colour.

It's so original! Love it :) I agree with LavenderFrost that a script liner is the best way to get the thin lines - I use one of those (which come in different sizes) and thin down the paint really well using water, almost to the point of looking like watercolor paint. That seems to work well for me :)

I like this.

maybe some shadow from the glasses would give it some depth.
I use a liner brush or Scripty for text, either is a PIA.
