Thanks for refs Maureen :)
...lovely landscape marmalized on iPad in brushes, steeeeeep learnin' curve. Those trees are to strong, and the distant bank a wee bit too fuzzy, lots to discover  ...

...hope t' do a couple more later in week by more trad methods me thinks....

Well done! Took me ages to get to grips with that app.
BTW if the fuzz annoys, you can increase the opacity to bring it into focus. :)
Me, I like it the way it is

I rather like this Scat ... including the fuzziness! ....... I found a similar problem with my first attempts with the Samsung tablet - couldn't understand it either!
I must try this app on DH's iPad!

Oh dear...am having heaps of trouble trying to upload photos. It seems iPad only allows you to upload one pic a day, if you try and do more, it changes them all to the same pic, it's driving me nuts. Somehow the pic I originally posted in this thread has got changed to one I tried to upload to 'artwork from life' forum??? I deleted it thinking it would let this post revert to the original pic, but no....I shall try and reload the one that is meant to be in this thread....this tablet is in severe danger of being projected into orbit!!! Here goes....

...and hey presto it's changed it back again.....can anyone help me understand how t remedy this INFURIATING glitch? .... Pleeeeeze 😣

Scat, I'm afraid that's a perennial problem with uploading from the iPad and we have no answer!

You'll either have to wait 24 hours to upload one or choose which version you want appearing and re-upload that!

If you want it in this forum, I can let the new one stay in post #1 (where it should replace the one there now) and remove the next uploads (if I can tell the difference!!!!).

Yes, I don't know why some have the attitude that digital painting is some sort of cheating, because it is not easy!
Well done!

Cool digi works :)

I think it is a great beginning and applaud those who work digitally, 'cause I could not do it...too taxing on the brain.

I LOVE the softness of this.. it is like being in a dream. I agree with the others, paint programs on tablets are a whole different animal - please don't toss your tablet - the more you do, the better you'll like it, I think !

Interesting effects with the ipad. I especially like how the grass came out in the foreground and the trees at the top.

Hats off to you for even trying digi. I wouldn't have a clue. This looks great though. It's hard to hide artistic skills and yours are evident.

...sorry peeps, the apple man has been trying to solve some of the probs
I have encountered with uploading pics to this site from my iPad. Now I'm too late to delete all of these. perhaps some kind mod would delete this thread before it drives anyone else as scatty as me....sorry for this folks...
