Hey there!

I've never posted in this forum before so I'll introduce myself a bit. I'm Pippa. I have a 14 month old son, a 10 year old stepdaughter, one husband, three spaniels, and one equine of the Hanoverian variety. :) I have recently returned to painting after a bit of a break. I usually hang out over in the soft pastel forum but lately I've been having lots of fun with acrylics. This one is 16x20, golden acrylics on canvas. C & C welcome!

Wonderful job !

and I love the saying (Value does all the work, and colour gets all the glory.) That is so true.

Welcome to the Acrylics forum. Certainly looks like you are having fun here. Well done. The horses are beautifully done.

(My wife's family were New Brunswickers though they ended up on the opposite coast! Wonderful province.)

Beautiful Pippa. It is worth posting this in the Animal and Wildlife forum as well. They would really enjoy it.

Welcome over here Pippa!
Lovely work this and really like the fact they're galloping through cloud/mist/dust/whatever rather than anchoring them to grass!:)

Wow thanks for all the kind responses. :) I had a really tough time with the horse on the right. Originally he was bday, but then the person I was painting this for said no that horse had to be pinto/palomino so I had to repaint it. Then I didn't have a photo to work from so I had to invent the colouring.

Glad you guys like it! :)
