http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/31-Mar-2015/1966537-photo_12.JPG Acrylics on canvas board 9" x 12"

I did this on the Animals and Wildlife forum but since it's in acrylics I thought to post it hear also.

So much is lost with camera phones. The blue reflections on the cap don't come through and there is a bluer tint to the shadows on his fur. Not sure I like the background. (we're so hard to please ourselves:) )

C & C always welcome

great painting of Milo.. one thing i noticed that might help a bit is the slight depression running down the middle of his tongue,, it will give depth to his mouth.. but its a really nice job

Thank you all for your comments and advice. It's much appreciated. Mr. Milo has been my wife and I's constant companion for over 7 years now. He has been with us all over this country in an RV trip, he's flown with us to AZ, Cal, New York, and he came with us on a trip we took to Turkey. He is quite a litte guy.

Just took a look at Milo, he is a real darling. I think you have really captured his happy expression. I love the way you have the fur around his muzzle and his eye's are gorgeous, I actually quite like the background colour. I think the whole thing is very well done.
