From the same series as the Nailed pear and using the same glazed layered technique acrylic on gesso prepared board 5" x 5" (130mm x 130mm)
I do have a series of photographs demonstrating the technique I could post if there is interest.
Comments and Suggestions welcomed.

If you post the photos I would certainly look.

Every time I try layered glazes it turns into a serious mess, so there's almost always a layer of gesso in there so I can start over.

Nice one! ... and the WIP photos/progress shots would a bonus for those wanting to see how you work!

Nice detail on the salt shaker! Very realistic. Great coloring on the pepper too.
