mixed Sennelier green earth pigment with water overnight, fine smooth paste. Added acrylic medium binder plus gel medium, mashed together first, lumps of wet green concrete, sand in water. More alkaline? Mixed huge amount so don't want to turn into one hard lump! help! thanks

When I was mixing my own I had a glass muller and a sheet of 1/4" glass with an abraded surface. With a spritz bottle I would spray the pigment and grind. After it was fine enough I would add the binder and slowly blend together with the muller. That would be the only way I would know how to make it work.

Good luck.

You might want to ask this in the color theory forum. I think some of the people in there make their own paints from pigments.
