Getting lots of snow in NJ. This little stone shed caught my eye as I drove past.
I always have my camera in the jeep.
About 15x16.
Cheers, Derek

That warm/cold thing is working to perfection in this picture.

Hard to make sunlit branches stand out against a bright sky, isn't it?

Well done. I like it.

Wonderful Derek. I would have been afraid of trying this scene with the shadows and that big evergreen tree, but you have handled it expertly, and the tree doesn't overpower the stone building.

I always love your pavement and shadows. I want to drive those same roads.

I really like this, especially the snow. Can you tell me what colors you used in the snow. Always a problem for me.

This is lovely Derek. You have a remarkable eye for composition, your palette is well chosen and your renderings are always fresh, never overworked. I'm envious! This scene does make me glad that I'm a West Coaster though!

I can certainly see why that scene caught your eye. You have a way of making the ordinary extraordinary! Love the dappled light.

You make a winter scene look inviting ( I can say that because our snow has been gone for a month now)
Wonderful light and shadows and so beautifully painted Derek! I look forward to seeing some Spring paintings soon.
