Hello all. It's been a while since I've been on here, but I wanted to try and get back into the groove of my painting again.

I recently got some new acrylic inks. I have the liquids, pencils and sticks. Been playing around with different techniques. I really like the intense color. Here I lightly misted the paper and dragged the dropper across the paper in a pattern, and this was the result. I came back with a fountain pen and drew in some leaf "detail", then did the background wash from the pencils and a very wet fluffy brush. Not sure if I still want to, but I originally thought of putting a bird or two flying toward the viewer and into the tree. Comments welcome.

This is really neat.

Pencils? Sticks? I think I want some of that.

I agree, no birds. I did go back with another background wash, esp to the upper left hand side for more interest there, but now it feels finished to me. I think it best to stick to your instincts in that regard. I also show my weapons of choice below.
