It's a street in Port of Spain leading towards the Savannah (a public park) -- acrylic on paper 9 x 12". There's a bigger version on canvas but I don't have an up to date photo right now. C&C welcome.

The vastness of the road works really well, as does the shadows.

You do have a distinctive style, which I really like.

Yes, I see your style in Sno-Cone Cart and this painting!

There is an expansiveness about both of these paintings that I like. :thumbsup:

Expansive = covering or including many things : very broad or wide. : covering a large space or area (Merriam).

That's true opainter ... I do tend to like broad or wide landscapes. People say they need to go to the other side of the room to see them properly. Much thanks for the comment ... it's a useful insight for me.

This is wonderful, Mary! The values are spot on and I love the way you've handled the tree foliage and the near shadows on the street - they're so simple but work perfectly. Lovely brushwork, too.
