Hello everybody! I'm planning to do a large, abstract acrylic painting and I want to use painters tape to create super smooth and crisp lines. Does anybody have any tips or brand suggestions? Thanks!

Have you considered Frog Tape. Blue tape works well. Consider sealing the edges with clear medium, then the color. Remove tape as soon as possible.
Burnish the edge of the tape you are painting against with your fingernail.

There is a new blue tape which is almost a like scotch tape. It woks really well.
But the best thing to do is to paint the original color over your tape, let it bleed under. Then do you new color on top of that.
