I started taking once/month life drawing sessions at the atelier that I attend so thought I would start a new thread for the results of this work.

First session was a long pose. I hadn't done life drawing in over 10 years.

Super gestures and sketches from class. You are fortunate that you have life drawing available where you are.

No way I could tell that it had been 10 years since you last did life drawing. My figures look like mishapen aliens :)

I went to art camp last week and got to do some nude life drawing as well as two draped life drawing sessions. I broke out my new Lamy pen early on and was immediately hooked - now I love drawing directly in ink. it is strangely freeing.

Wow! Love all your life drawings. You have a way of capturing a lot of character in every model, nude or clothed. Awesome pen sketches, that's some nerve! But I also like the well modeled charcoal first long pose and the lively gestures. I'd love to get into life drawing again.
