The tree, the small bridge with the water flowing underneath are so striking that the city behind it seems almost like an afterthought.... You have done an amazing job on all the elements of nature. its beautiful !

The tree is spectacular, aided by the way that you recede the town into the background. Gary

Wonderful, such beautiful clarity. I'm curious about the white birds -- are they seagulls?

A really great painting - especially the water and tree. Only thing I would do is to soften the redddish outline on the background building. Beautiful. George

Mary - The white birds are seagulls as the south coast is not far away. Thankyou for your comments.

George - Re - Only thing I would do is to soften the redddish outline on the background building. - Thanks George - good point - Much Appreciated !

Hi Michael, nice painting.
I see faces in the branches of the tree, true or are mine imaginations?

Thanks Pakote - Re - I see faces in the branches of the tree, true or are mine imaginations? - Interesting - Any 'faces' are just co-incidental & certainly not rendered intentionally - Appreciate Your Comments.

A lovely painting indeed! It must have taken you quite a while to complete with so much detail.

really nice composition and lovely handling of trees and water, but with a day this bright there has to be reflected light under the bridge...bouncing up off the water to the underside of the bridge. A photograph may turn it all dark, but photographs lie, as we know.

Thanks - graphicali - Yes the detail took a while especially the tree & shop fronts - Appreciate Your Comments !

Thanks - Bevahlee - You are absolutely correct ! - There should be more reflected light under the bridge. The photo lied a little - but thankyou for bring it to my attention.
