Yes, that impasto is delicious. I could imagine that one of the impressionists painted this. It's truly gorgeous.

Jan, I'd like to know how to maintain the viscosity on the surface. My attempt to impasto usually results in a lost surface after a few years. Oil has a way of changing and aging developing 'character'.
Do you have a special formula (medium) that allows the paint to stay as put?
