Everybody found a new job, got married or really busy? I know I have been. But it puzzles me that such a great site doesn't have more topics, and replies posted dayly. Weird. I tell my friends about this place. I hope they come check it out.

I wonder if this site has a french version, cause a lot of my friends speak only french.
Or do any of you know of a french art-related and excellent website?
Thanks, and let's keep this place alive!

I agree with you, I'd also like to read more about watercolours http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif (I run and pain any momeent I can, usually after I put my daughter in bed till midnight), but life is so full of business!

dealing with french forum, as I don't speak french I don't looked for them, but a friend of mine sent me this URL to a school of watercolour in french, mayby can be useful:

Think the site is quite alive. Seems most people are just chosing to post paintings in the critque section for discussion. This area is being used mostly for questions and comments about watercolor in general. Also many are finding their answers at the online art school section.

uubald: You can use " bablefish " to translate this site into French. I often use "bablefish" to help me understand other languages. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif sometimes it would help with my English as well. (just teasing)

Here is the url to altavista. All you have to do is enter the address of the site you want to translate and off you go.

Okay, maybe it is alive, I still wish to see more info going on in here. I'm hungry for comments!

Also, I wouldn't know if the chat room is lively, I've been there only once. Believe me when I say I won't come back any time soon. My connection is so slow that Java applets and other similar webpage gimmicks make it impossible for me to chat real time. It took ten minutes to just load the interface! I typed hello, and it took five minutes to get to the people. So slow in fact that I had to force-quit my browser to get control of my computer again...

So, is there any popular IRC chat rooms about watercolor? I'm desperate here.
I'll start one whenever I'm online, I'll call it #watercolorists, if possible...
Join me sometime.

thanks,
Uubald

As for the chat - sorry to hear you are having problems - not a puter whiz so cannot offer any suggestions there!
