This one isn't complete and probably won't ever be.
These water colour works are just practice pieces, stuff like this usually stays WELL under my bed.
this is watercolour on A3 paper.
Done to match a poem I was working on...
getting ready
By deevaa,
July 2001
Lifting the heavy, cold fabric over her head,
a shiver of anticipation darted the length of her spine.
Moving toward the mirror, blue satin
whispered against her thighs.
What she was getting ready for
was not the dinner and dancing,
and the delicious naughtiness of the revelation
hung like a velvet wrap about her shoulders.

cool study piece. So you decorate under your bed too, do ya?
What I see now is a pleasing light rendering with the watercolors with very nice lines. Is it the arm that bugs you? The color treatment looks different than the rest. I love when there's a poem or story attached to a piece. Sheds a little light on what the artist was thinking after you're done reading into it what you see. Thanks for digging this out and posting it for us.

Why does everyone seem shocked that I keep my paintings under my bed!!
Where do other artists keep the stuff that they don't show?
(feeling like an oddball here now Zot... :p )

The arm is a different colour because she is meant to be wearing opera gloves however I stopped working on the painting before I finished defining that area so I'm not surprised that it wasn't clear.
Terrific Deeva...
I actually keep my painting under my bed.. under the kids beds... in the closet, in the storage space, stacked against walls, even at my office..... I have just run out of wall space.

I'm NOT the only one. :p
Until recently though I kept ALL my art under there, and had none on my walls.

Went back and read again.....the TOO meant ALSO!
My larger pieces are under the bed (that I don't have wallspace for. All my stuff from school, unfinished stuff, some materials. Ask my houseguest, the stuff under her bed practically holds it up.
You're no oddball.
