Hi all,

Thought I'd never get this one finished. I was commissioned by the contractors building out new town hospital, to do a S-board of the new hospital to give as a gift to the new hospital...sounds strange I know.;) I've never done anything quite like this...so modern. Don't think I want to do another one either...at least not anytime soon....quite out of my comfort zone.
Also, this is a secret until it is presented to the hospital, but I thought I could safely show it here, so mum's the word. :wink2:

The client came today to see it and was quite pleased.

This photo is not great, I need to get a better one in the daylight. It's 11X14.

Thank you everyone! :) This hospital is not open yet, but today they gave the public a tour of all of it. I really enjoyed seeing the other side of those walls. This hospital was badly needed as our old one was just that...very old. They spent 55 million on it, and it's quite something, especially for a small town...actually a village not a town...like this is.

Today they also put out a call for submissions from the local artists...they want to fill the walls with local artists work. I plan on submitting a few scratchboards and maybe a couple of paintings for consideration. :)

This is wonderful Lorna. I've missed seeing your work. Although the building is amazing, my favorite part is the landscaping.
