Soft pastels on velour...my second wildlife. Advice always welcome!

You have done a wonderful job on the snow and the fur. I just feel that the dark shadow beneath the nose (which also needs a little attention) makes your lovely fox look like he has a moustache. Also the whiskers are very dark and strong. Could you perhaps upload a reference photo so that we could give you more feedback. I also like those colours and shapes in the rock.

Nicely done Sandie. That fur looks so soft and beautiful.
The only suggestion I would make is the far back leg needs to recede more with some shadowing perhaps.

Thanks for the advice everyone -- I did push the far back leg back but haven't taken another photo since doing that. The black under the nose is the lower jaw -- I did throw some gray on that to push it back and not make it so stark. Also adjusted the whiskers to be finer. This photo does not convey all adjustments but I really really appreciate the guidance from the group!! THANK YOU!!!http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/19-Jan-2015/209338-FoxinSnow-STerry3.jpg

I can't believe this is your second wildlife. Well done, keep on going!
