I am determined to start drawing again, and perhaps by coming out of lurkdom and posting my sketchbook here, I will find the incentive to keep pushing past the rusty stage to getting my mojo back. There are some truly beautiful sketchbooks in this forum!

Slept most of the day due to a nasty headache, but managed this quick sketch.

Thank you Shannon!

If you like pen and ink, you will love her! The first exercise posted is from "Drawing in Pen and Ink. She also has several book that combine ink drawing with watercolor.

Thanks for the tip. I recently bought a Craftsy class on mixed media drawings with pen and ink and water colour, once I finish up with that I will look into this book.

Great exercises from Claudia Nice, you're really getting it. I love her books, use them often. Like the mushrooms a lot, also the feather. Chickadee is awesome, love the textures and values you got. You're on a roll!

One thing that's fun is using a watersoluble pen and then drawing out mid value washes with a wet brush. Or waterproof pen and add washes. Another Claudia Nice technique from a different book I have, that I've used often.

 All I need is another idea to work with! ... and such a good one at that! Thanks for taking a look and commenting Robert! Much appreciated!
