View Full Version : Two Heritage site rock-cut caves

I am switching back to my old theme Archaeology/Heritage sites which may be of interest only to few viewers, perhaps. . I present here two rock cut caves . the first one , Udayagiri Cave, shaped like a tiger's face is dated 2nd century BCE situated in an Eastern state in India. The second one is Ellora Cave , one of the 34 caves dated 5th to 10th century AD .in Western sate in India
I used only FG brush in the first one . I realized that FG brush is not the right tool for the texture of rocks .So I used only Speedball nib for the second one . Both done on white board with Ampersand ink . Size 11x8.5 "

Wonderful images and the FB seems to work pretty well.

Your archeological pieces are always so rich and interesting. These are no exceptions.

I also like the FG brush on the first one as well as the second. These are beautiful. I'm sure that, to see it up close, is incredible!
