View Full Version : Flowers A to Z: B is for bird of paradise, etc....

Here are three photos to get started on B flowers.

Bird of Paradise, Begonia, Bougainvillea. All from the reference library.

You can use any other photo or paint from life. The only condition is...flower uou paint must begin with the letter 'B'. Any media.

Use mixed media, e.g. collage, stencils, pen and wash etc etc....

May be incorporate your flower into an art journal page?

1. Bird of Paradise.

I first saw these when my aunt brought a bunch from the Canary Islands for my gran when I was a kid. Very impressive flowers.

2. Begonias

These are a lovely splash of colour and found in most garden pots in UK.

3. Bougainvillea

These lined the streets in Khorat Thailand where I stayed for a few months teaching English. very exotic (for me).

That's a start folks. I will add more photos as they come to hand...

Looking forward to seeing the flower artwork.

Idea: You could do one or more as art tags.

There's an art tag exchange started up on one of the google groups I joined recently.

Creating and sharing mixed media.
