Hi art buddies in and out of hiding......sometimes I'm not quite sure which I am....but the light in here is always good.
Hope we each can move forward integrating art into our life and the lives of others. It is important to us all.
Lately it is a real struggle but one worth the effort.
In the States this is month of thanksgiving. I'm thankful for this place and for your art. It speaks and enlivens me. You are all soooo important to me. Truly.
I will try and post something, anything soon. Been painting walls and have a GRAND scheme for doing a giant elephant on one wall........

Good morning. I finally got here this month.
I have been busy of late doing the 21 secrets art journalling workshop online...it is a course of 21 workshops...a huge anount of material, but so interesting to follow. I think I've done about 5 so far.
Here is today's effort.
It was an experiment in using stencils and silhouettes. Acrylics.
Maybe I will post a flower project...B flowers...this weekend.

Haven't been here in ages - I was a bit busy with all manner of other things. Didn't really have much time for art either, except a few cartoons. They are mostly rather nerdy and few people get then. :-)

Time for the yearly school concert again, so I had some fun painting a stage backdrop of a Knysna turaco (aka Knysna loerie), which is the school's emblem, in acrylics on a large piece of cardboard:
Unfortunately the light was not all that good so the photo came out a bit dark.

An art tag doodle done this morning. I am into fairy tales partly because I am watching 'Grimm' on TV at the moment.

Glad to find you are all still here. Had a rather lousy 2014...nothing drastic, just lousy. I have now picked myself up and dusted myself off and am ready for 2015 and contributing to W/C.
Hope you are all well. Nice work Brian, June and Mrs. Parsnip. Love the tag. Can we do that again sometime?

Hi Janet, Brian and June.....
Glad each of us got something done
Brian - I like the play on words....lots of nice drawing detail too for a comic. That is lovely bird painting. It shows that you liked doing it too.
June - I love your tags, got them up here and there and in a lot of my current reading material
Janet - so good seeing you and your cat here. I really missed you and have been thinking about you. That is a cool cat.
here is a couple things I did this week........sketch at the coffeehouse and tangle doodlehttp://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/01-Dec-2014/88676-tanglesss.gif http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/01-Dec-2014/88676-coffeebubble.gif
